His site also includes a personal project area. ‘Weekend Passions’ is what keeps me sane and shooting what I love to photograph most; people. It never ceases to amaze me the ‘secret lives’ that people lead. For some, their hobbies are their private world; for others it’s a shared experience.

Just had to say another great big thanks to you for toiling in the baking sunshine (As in picture) to make a leaf key ring for me.
It will always remind me of a happy time spent at the Little Duck Forge with the first Lady Smith that I have ever met.

Have looked at the L D Forge website and was impressed.

Christine Coltman and Lucille Scott are members of the Blendworth Brass Band.

Christine Coltman is a tenor horn player with the band, her other hobby is painting. Christine likes to try and capture the feeling of light and paints in a loose style producing atmospheric pictures of the local area. She mainly paints in watercolour & pastels.

Lucille Scott as well as playing trombone is a talented blacksmith based in Portsmouth. Having always enjoyed traditional crafts Lucille works with many other materials combining them into three dimensional exquisite pieces. Her current passion is combining the amazing colours of felted wool with the strength of form provided by metals.

Little Duck Forge specialises in contemporary ironwork using a combination of traditional and modern forge work techniques to create unique hand crafted metalwork. Lucille Scott is a designer blacksmith, her main tools are the hammer and the anvil.

Little Duck Forge produces a range of hand forged items for the House and Garden including Fireside tools, Garden sculptures and outdoor cooking accessories. Lucille is also working with a number of local Glass artists to produce wonderful garden artworks combining the traditional strength of forged metal with the light catching effects of coloured fused glass. Most work is done to commission and Lucille is always happy to discuss any projects or ideas.

If you would like to have a bash at being a Blacksmith in the forge at Eastney, Lucille runs regular workshops throughout the year. This is an opportunity to experience for yourself (or as a gift to that special someone) the joy of working with hot metal to transform it into an item with a life of its own. The day is tailored to your skills giving you a chance to make something that you will be proud to take home.

Lucille will be demonstrating at her stand using the mobile Little Duck Forge.
